Banana Cantaloupe Smoothie

This smoothie tastes like summer. The cantaloupe makes it lighter than a straight banana smoothie and the orange juice brightens everything up. Using only frozen fruit, with no ice, is the key to a creamy texture that isn't watery.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen cantaloupe chunks 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup frozen banana slices
  • 3/4 cup pulp-free orange juice
  • 1/2 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of Diamond Crystal kosher salt
  • A pinch of ground ginger

Method

  • Add frozen cantaloupe, banana, orange juice, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla, salt and ginger to blender.
  • Blend on low, increase to high, blend 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Use tamper if needed to push down frozen fruit.
Adjust sweetness with extra maple syrup or thin with orange juice if desired.
